Crabapple, Brandywine
Malus 'Branzam'
Type:Trees: Ornamental & Shade

Care Instruction:
Soil and Moisture: Crabapples do best in a evenly moist, slightly acidic to neutral soil with lots of loam. However, these trees are quite adaptable and can even tolerate some heavy clay.
Fertilizing: Apply a 10-10-10 granular fertilizer around the base of the tree in April. Water the fertilizer in immediately after each application.
Pruning: Pruning is not necessary, simply cut away any broken or damaged branches early in the spring if necessary.
Special Notes: If any suckers emerge, cut them off immediately.
